David Hashemi, MD is a Harvard-trained, double-board certified Dermatologist with dual fellowship training in both dermatologic surgery and laser/cosmetic dermatology, specializing in Mohs surgery.

He completed his residency at Harvard Medical School’s combined Dermatology residency, which included extensive training at Massachusetts General Hospital, where most laser and energy-based technologies used today were originally developed.

He then completed a dual laser/cosmetic and surgical fellowship in New York City under Roy Geronemus, MD, who pioneered many of the techniques used in laser dermatology.

Dr. Hashemi has trained at several of the most respected hospitals in the nation. His residency comprised training across all Harvard hospitals, including Massachusetts General, Brigham and Women’s, Beth Israel Deaconess, and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Prior to that he completed an internship year at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, putting him in the unique position of having completed training at 2 of the nation’s top 3 cancer centers.

Dr. Hashemi holds an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with highest-possible class rank, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was the youngest member of his graduating class. He completed his post-baccalaureate pre-medical studies at Johns Hopkins University, and earned his degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors.
